The Al Bateen Student Council is an
important student elected body that provides our students with the opportunity
to become involved in the affairs of the school. The Council meets regularly
and works in partnership with the school management, staff and parents. Its main aim is to always work for the
benefit of the school and its students.
This year the Council has be involved in tackling environmental issues,
supporting school events, academic issues such as helping redesign the student
planner and organizing charity events such as the Cycle for Life initiative.
They have also been involved in and had input on the design of the new Senior
School uniform.
Council members represent the opinions of
their class and are invited to put forward suggestions and points for
discussion at their regular meetings. These meetings are run exclusively by the
elected student Chairperson and are supported by the elected Secretary and
Treasurer.
