Strategic Governance Group
Al Bateen School’s Strategic Governance Group
(SGG) is established to provide consultation and support in relation to
strategic leadership of the school. The remit is, broadly, regarding
vision, direction and leadership and provides an opportunity for school managers
to receive advice, guidance and support from parents, community representatives
and Aldar Academies’ colleagues.
SGG is established to:
Review the School Development Plan and
Post-Inspection Action Plan, offering a critical review and support to initiate
ongoing improvement to the performance of the school.
Contribute to the appointment/recruitment
of the Principal.
Provide advice and support to the
Principal and SMT in relation to self-evaluation processes, including the
development of surveys.
Members are as follows: The
Aldar Academies EMT member;
Members of the school’s Senior Leadership Team;
Three parent members;
One appointed business/community representative (selected by
Principal). The tenure of membership is for one academic year in the first instance.
