Year 8

The school follows a programme based on the English National Curriculum, with an international dimension. Subjects studied in Year 8 are, as follows:

The topics in each subject will reflect the international nature of Al Bateen students. For example, students will read books written by a range of international authors not just those written by English or American authors. Students will study world history and geography alongside local history and geography, and in the Arts, students will look at art from around the world and experience music from a range of cultures.

All Muslim students will complete a programme in Islamic Studies, Arabic and Social Studies. This is in line with the Ministry of Education requirements and the school's belief that it is importance for children to understand their culture and heritage.
